(15:00) Ljubljana Forum is one of the most creative vision building events where business, knowledge and ambitious urban projects meet. At the Ljubljana Forum 2012 central topics of discussion were Energy efficiency & being Always On-line.

In 25 years from now, there are going to be sensors all over the cities, measuring temperature, moisture, … the city will become like a living organism and the citizens will be able to interact with the collective intelligence system of the mayor’s office thus co-managing the city, predicts Jerome C. Glenn, director of The Millennium Project.

Next step on the path of the cities is energy efficiency and various stake holders are investing in this field. A lot can be done in the areas of building sector and traffic.
